Last updated 24 August 2026. This policy explains what Ben's Backflow Testing & Repair LLC does with the information you give us through this website.
This site does not use a contact form. If you start a conversation through the chat button on this site, we collect the name, phone number and any details you send us in that chat. If you call, text or email us we keep a record of the number or address and the conversation so we can service the job.
The site does not sell products and does not collect payment details through this website.
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, schedule and carry out the work, file test certifications with your water purveyor where that applies, and contact you about that job. If you become a customer we may contact you when your next annual test is due.
How you opt in: by starting a chat through the chat button on this site and giving us your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Ben's Backflow Testing & Repair about your enquiry, your appointment and upcoming test due dates. The chat widget is the only SMS opt-in on this site.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of texts does not stop us calling you about a job you have booked.
We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
We share information only where it is needed to do the work: with your water purveyor when we file a test report, and with the software we use to run the business, such as our scheduling and invoicing system. We do not sell your information.
Job and certification records are kept as long as needed to service the account and to meet record keeping requirements for backflow testing. Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing bensbackflow@gmail.com or calling (864) 238-5277. Certification records we are required to retain are the exception.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
