Ben's Backflow Testing and Repair branded vehicle in Upstate South Carolina

Working the Upstate since 1999.

The short version

It started as a side job after school.

Kyle grew up helping his dad after school and at weekends, on what was then a side business. It grew into a full time operation and, decades later, into the company that handles backflow compliance for a large part of the Upstate.

That history is the reason the work is done a particular way. When you have tested the same assemblies on the same properties for twenty years, you stop thinking about a test as a transaction. Roughly half our clients have been with us for ten years or more, and most commercial accounts renew every year without being chased for it.

You deal with the owner

Kyle handles the work directly and we do not subcontract any of it out. If you call or text, you reach the person who will be on your property, not a dispatcher passing the job to whoever is available. Calls and texts get answered, and we follow up.

What we are, and what we are not

We are a certified backflow testing and repair company that also repairs lawn irrigation. We are not general plumbers. If your problem is inside the building, it is not our trade and we will tell you that rather than take the job.

Credentials

Every technician holds SC DHEC cross connection certification, licence number 123150626. We are members of the American Backflow Prevention Association and accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Family owned and locally owned, working since 1999.

Why property managers keep us on the schedule

Most combined backflow experience in the Upstate

Two generations doing one trade in one market.

We fix what others would replace

A failed assembly is usually a rebuild. Replacing it is the expensive way to pass.

Half our clients have been with us 10 years or more

Compliance work is a relationship. Most accounts renew without a reminder.

Put us on your schedule

Whether it is one assembly or a portfolio of properties, tell us what you have and we will work out the schedule around your due dates.

  • We test the assembly and file the report with your utility
  • Failed devices rebuilt and retested, usually on the same visit
  • One year warranty on parts and labor
  • Every technician is SC DHEC certified, and we never subcontract
